We are very proud of our young sewers and believe
that their accomplishments need to be recognized and celebrated!

Summer 2008 KidSew: We have over 30
children sewing this summer. Check out what they have accomplished
in a week's sewing!
....more to come!
These girls designed their own appliqués, mixed the
dyes and dyed their fabrics and stitched wallhangings and pillows!
This next row are of our 5-7 year old camp. They
all sewed travel pillows, then had a choice of pocket pendants, bookmarks,
headbands, hair scrunchies & notebooks. Even though they had to
stretch to reach their foot controls (sitting on stools), they did a super
job. I am so very proud of them!
Here is a sampling of what has been sewn
during or summer camps at Needleworks. Some were first time sewers
and some have sewn with us before. I think they have all done a
wonderful job! I am so very proud of each and everyone of them!
KidSew Spring Quilt Camp: The children did a super
job. Their quilts will be on display at the Festival of Quilts at
Heritage Park in May.
January KidSew Hand Dyed Landscape Wallhanging: The
children designed their landscape. They all had to have mountains,
hills and trees. They dyed their own fabrics and stitched their
wallhangings in only 3 days. I think they did a super job!
More pictures will be posted soon.
